GLOSSARY/Cryptography

Zero-Knowledge Proofs

A cryptographic method by which one party can prove to another that they know a value, without conveying any information apart from the fact that they know that value.

ZKP is the pinnacle of privacy and security in Web3. It enables scalable verification (ZK-Rollups) and private identity (ZK-KYC). For enterprises, it allows proving compliance or data integrity without revealing sensitive business logic.
